Diane Griffin originally became involved with McCurdy as a summer work team member through the Meadowbrook United Methodist Church in Fort Worth, Texas.  She has been volunteering at McCurdy since 1998, after selling her Group Insurance Administration business and building a vacation home in New Mexico.  She joined the McCurdy Foundation Board in 2002.  She is inspired by the faculty and staff of McCurdy who are dedicated to making a difference in the lives of so many New Mexico children.  Diane has two grown sons in Dallas, and it is those boys and her six lively grandchildren who draw a lot of her attention and keep her from spending even more time in New Mexico!  She currently serves as the Director of Volunteer Services for the 2008 General Conference of the United Methodist Church to be hosted in Fort Worth by the Central Texas Conference.
